PRIME

Prime is designed to express the full potential of a kitchen featuring recessed opening. It comes in a range of different compositions designed to meet the most sophisticated aesthetic demands. The finger recess runs seamlessly the length and breadth of the product and ends on the side panels, an alternative solution to the finished sides, offering ample scope for personalization. The Prime door is shaped at the top at 45° to make opening simpler and more ergonomic. The project also presents a new glass door for wall units and Flair columns, both lit with concealed LED profiles in the sides of the units, and the new Wing system with tapered aluminium shelves. The Prime snack bar completes the composition, with a titan and pewter aluminium framework and a top made of dark walnut accompained by Woody stools by Francesco Meda, who designs the entire Woody seating collection for Molteni&C.

Intersection-monomaterica-04_HR.jpg

The fascination of monolithic objects made of a single material has inspired Vincent van Duysen to apply this concept to his latest creation, the Intersection kitchen. A single material, natural stone, with which to create a unique, sculptural and architectural object.

Intersection-monomaterica-05_HR.jpg

Firstly, this project implies choosing a material that fits the purpose, natural stone, with the unique characteristics that Nature bestows, and secondly, using innovative technologies to achieve it, as is deducible from the doors of the bases, which open effortlessly to guarantee the utmost functionality. The natural stone slabs are machined and excavated with high precision mechanical processes, so as to lighten the panels and guarantee them for domestic use.

These monomaterial “shells”, subsequently applied to alveolar aluminium panels, guarantee that they are light, stable and mechanically resistant, thereby allowing a door to be built all in one with the side panels of the island. And the material nature of natural stone, with its unique and unrepeatable look, enters our homes with a spectacular application.

The drawer block is available in two types: with the exclusive Vionaro movement, with its patented anodized aluminium side, or with all four sides in wood. The interchange of materials and the play of solids and voids result in a dynamic and highly sophisticated proposal
